Frequently asked questions

Buying, quoting, certifications, and selling — the essentials. Still stuck? Contact us.

Buying & quoting

How do I get a price on a part that shows “Request Quote”?

Add it to a Request for Quote (RFQ) and submit — you can include multiple part numbers, quantities, and preferred condition. Our team prices it and sends a quote you can review and accept online, typically within 24 hours.

What happens when I accept a quote?

Accepting a quote creates an order for the quoted parts at the quoted prices and takes you to checkout. Your order then appears under My Orders with its status and details.

Do I need an account to submit an RFQ?

No — you can submit an RFQ as a guest. To review quotes and order history in your account later, register with the same email and verify it.

Certifications & traceability

What certification comes with a part?

Each listing shows its condition and available certification — for example FAA 8130-3, EASA Form 1, or a manufacturer's certificate of conformance. Traceability documentation is provided with the shipment.

What do the condition codes mean?

New (NE), Overhauled (OH), Serviceable (SV), Repaired (RP), and As-Removed (AR). Every listing states its condition so you know exactly what you're receiving before you buy.

Can I get parts with full back-to-birth trace?

Where available, yes. Traceability depth is noted on the listing; if you have a specific trace requirement, note it on your RFQ and we'll confirm before quoting.

Selling on Skyrack

How do I list my inventory?

Apply as a supplier, and once approved you can upload inventory (including a CSV of part numbers, condition, quantity, and pricing). Approved listings appear in the marketplace for buyers to find and request.

Who can become a supplier?

Repair stations, distributors, and operators with surplus inventory. We review each application, including relevant certifications such as FAA-145 repair station approval.
