Airworthiness

Certification & traceability, attached to every part.

A part is only usable if you can prove it's airworthy. On Skyrack, condition and certification are stated up front and the paperwork travels with the part — so it clears receiving inspection the first time.

Documentation we work with

FAA 8130-3

Authorized Release Certificate

Documents that a part conforms to approved design and is in a condition for safe operation. Issued for new and overhauled/repaired articles from approved sources.

EASA Form 1

Authorised Release Certificate

The European equivalent of the 8130-3, accepted under the bilateral agreement for dual-release parts moving between FAA and EASA jurisdictions.

FAA-PMA

Parts Manufacturer Approval

Approval to produce a replacement or modification part. PMA alternatives are surfaced on part pages alongside OEM options where an approved equivalent exists.

C of C

Certificate of Conformance

A manufacturer's statement that the supplied part conforms to specification — common for standard hardware and consumables.

FAA-145

Repair Station Approval

Suppliers performing maintenance, repair, or overhaul are vetted for their repair-station approvals during onboarding.

Back-to-Birth

Full Traceability

Where available, complete ownership and maintenance history from manufacture forward — often required for life-limited parts (LLPs).
